An innovative and sculpturesque office building to seat about 800 engineers. The structure springs like a tree disturbing little land at its feet and branches outward as rotated cantilever floors offering landscaped terraces at each level and an almost column free interior. Deeply shaded wide windows along the periphery let in ample indirect light and cross ventilation modulating the climate and results in reduced energy use. Detailed articulation of data and service infrastructure results in ease of use and maintenance. The design is onceptualised as a closer synthesis of architectural form and structure by synergistic use of concrete The building has won national and international design awards.
